HK manufacturer unveils trendy, innovative jewellery

Jewellery Collection Manufacturer Ltd is casting the spotlight on a number of edgier fine jewellery collections for a younger generation of buyers.

Alex Kwong, marketing director of Jewellery Collection, said the company is currently focusing on trendier styles.

“We’re introducing more affordable products because we feel that big-ticket items are not attractive to younger buyers,” noted Kwong.

At the show, the company is presenting the Morse Code Collection, which is a selection of 18-karat gold jewellery pieces that can be embedded with a special message using codes. “This is very popular among couples. We have a lot of interest in this collection not only because it’s unique but because of the sand-brushed finish,” explained the company official.

Another collection, which takes inspiration from dreamcatchers, features jewellery items in 18-karat gold with a detailed and precise finishing, and adorned with diamonds and coloured gemstones.

“We always try to find designs that not everybody is doing. Our design team constantly explores different ideas because this is how we stand out from the competition,” added Kwong.

He added that the company is targeting potential clients from different countries, particularly the US and China.

“Our major markets are the US and China. Middle East is a bit tougher to penetrate but we don’t mind exploring that market in the future,” noted Kwong.
